Neary Bros Racing

The 2007 Season brought the NBR crew to 4 different dirt tracks and 3 paved oval tracks. Scott started the season running all the tracks as Jr. 1 Restricted (ages 8 to 10). Part way thru the Season some tracks combined classes that had Scott running a combined Jr. 1 & 2 (ages 8 to12). Turns out the kid did OK with a 2nd overall in year end points at Hamlin Speedway. Scott also raced the WKA Pennsylvania Asphalt Divisional Series (PADS) this year with a 3rd overall for Jr. 1 in the Series, his best finish was 2nd place in race #5. We assembled a Jr. Restricted Champ to create a new type of racing experience for the boys, Scott was able to pull into Victory Lane twice at Snydersville in the Jr. Champ class after only being strapped in a few times. Thru the year we continued to improve on our equipment with the purchase of a Shadow Kart, which helped Scott finish out the year with a win at the 1st Annual Turkey Derby at the Wall TWSP Sunday Series. This brings Scott up to 9 Feature wins in 3 different classes.

About 1/2 way thru the year we came across a great deal on a Top Kart brand, Kid Kart (ages 5 to 8) for Sam to test the waters. Sam took to the big tracks right away with a win at OVRP and another win at PADS race #5. Hamlin brought the toughest competition for Sam, even so he was able to fill his Trophy shelf with all top 3 finishes and an honorable mention at the Hamlin Speedway banquet. Sam finished out the year in our older flat kart in Jr. 1 and the Jr. Champ class at Wall TWSP Sunday Series with great success.

2008 brings us to Scott running almost exclusively in our newest Trick Olympic Jr. Champ and Sam will have the choice of driving either our Older Open kart or the Shadow in the Jr. 1 class. The Kid Kart will be hung on the wall until Elloree is ready for the driver seat, only about 2 years away and coming quick.
